Resistant Max speeds are based on what average wind speeds the wind generator could survive and not what speeds the windmill operates or creates power.

Disclaimer:
Wind speeds listed above are a guide only.
Turbulent winds or wind shears can happen at any wind speed and can cause tremendous damage. Avoiding operation in known damaging winds/storms is the best policy to avoid damage.

The "Resistant Max speed" numbers above are based on steady "clean" winds, not stormy conditions.
It is advised to protect your wind generator in high damaging winds by lowering the unit or stopping the wind generator before the storm occurs.
